This shot was taken at a flea market in downtown Durham. I was walking around observing the vendors and shoppers. I noticed the mirror so that customers could hold up clothes from nearby racks. I positioned myself to see the mirror and the shoppers, without being in the photo myself. The sun was behind me to reflect back into the scene. I waited for maybe 20 minutes and took shots of people walking in and out of the frame. Finally I caught one woman as she held up the garment in front of her. To me this is a good example of finding the right light, composition and waiting for my shot. I like the framing of the mirror and layers of the flea market to the side, the woman, and the buildings in the background. I hope you enjoy this photo.
