Behind the Shot

I have been going to Don’s Original in Rochester, NY for over 50 years. This past year I was traveling from North Carolina to care for my aging parents and would go to Don’s, often by myself, for dinner. I had this photo in mind sitting at the end of the counter, and tried more than once to get the shot I wanted. During this visit I used my I-Phone 15 and took about 10 shots looking down the counter. For me, the woman looking back to her friend breaks up the leading line of customers facing forward and makes the photo. I was fortunate to capture her eyes and expression. I hope you enjoy it.
