Welcome

I gravitate to two locations for local photos; the Durham Farmers Market and the Durham Station Transportation Center. Both provide opportunities for interesting captures of people going about their activities. I am sensitive to people in physical or mental distress and will not take photos of someone who may be compromised. I am very interested in light and shadows. I often shoot in the early morning when the sun is low with distinct shadows. Lately I am processing more of my photos in black & white. Without color I find a strong composition, often with a central subject, will make a good photo. I continue to look for photos that capture a moment in time we cannot get back.
